We know things are crazy right now. Many of our friends, families and neighbors around the world are stressed, anxious and scared. We wanted to reach out to our community and customers with reassuring words, and a message of hope from the POW team.
We’re just as disoriented as everyone else. Just like you, we’re focused on staying healthy and preparing for a long stay at home. We’re standing in line for groceries, disinfecting everything twice, and trying to navigate an uncertain future.
But we’ve also been inspired by the creativity and generosity we’ve seen around the world, and the innovative ways people are staying connected. We’re video chatting with friends and loved ones, streaming creativity from our living rooms, and inventing fun activities for our kids. We’re escaping to the deck, roof, yard, or even the fire escape for a little fresh air. And we’re trying new indoor hobbies we never thought we’d have time for.
We’re all looking for a sense of normalcy, a sliver of sanity, and maybe even a way to have some fun.
We’re also looking for new ways to give back and support our community.
Healthcare professionals are working around the clock to keep us safe. We realize being on the front lines of this global crisis comes at the cost of their own health and time away from family. That’s why we’re committed to doing what we can to support healthcare heroes both in our local area and globally.
Locally, we’re going to start by donating 100 MO speakers to healthcare workers in the Boston metro area. Our hope is that they can find some relief and maybe even a smile in hearing their favorite music or the voice of their loved ones in better audio quality.
Globally, we’re donating 1% of our profits to the Red Cross to help fund their vital work. That’s where you can help make a difference!
